Transjakarta to Extend Operating Hours from Next Monday

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has announced its operation will be extended from 5 AM to 10 PM.

This is effective starting Monday (4/11)

While its evening service (Amari) will serve customers from 10:01 PM to 11 PM.

"This is effective starting Monday (4/11)," expressed Angelina Betris Acting Corporate Secretary and Public Relations Head of PT Transjakarta, Friday (4/8).

She explained it was a follow-up to the Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub)'s Decree number 198/2022 on Technical Instructions for Regulation of Transport Capacity and Operational Time of Transportation Facilities during PPKM Level 2.

"It will be socialized for three days from April 8-10 via social media or directly with our officers in the field," she explained.

She added that Transjakarta will continue to operate with the maximum customer carrying capacity under health protocol rules, either at the stop or on the bus.

"Customers must also show proof of having vaccinated, either via the PeduliLindungi app, JAKI app, or digital documents to the officer," he stressed.
